This program has recognized the elite of the Sri Lankan community which includes Ms Piumika Fernando who won Gold for Canada at the Racketlon World Championship in the Netherlands. Piumika became the youngest and the only Canadian to win this World title at the age of 16.

Canadian Cricket

The company's involvement in helping the Canadian Cricket Association (CCA) was another great milestone as the Chairman of Asia Cricket Council & Sri Lankan Cricket Hon. Arjuna Ranatunga M.P visited Canada in March 2008 which resulted in the popularity of cricket enjoyed by many Canadians today. This important meeting helped Canada secure Sri Lanka's support in taking the Canadian team under its wings to help Canadians qualify for the upcoming World Cup scheduled to be played in the year 2011. In addition to the Canada Cup T20 that was held in October 2008 the Canadian Team was flown to Sri Lanka in February 2009 for a coaching camp in its capital, Colombo.
